PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Growing up around parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles running companies, small business has always been a big part of my life.  Early in my career, though, I set my sights on the corporate world to gain experience in managing technology.

I joined DHL in the IT Services division and spent a decade running enterprise level programs in software implementation and organizational transformation.  It also gave me the chance to live in the Czech Republic and Singapore and work with people from all over the world.

Wanting more influence on the company’s direction, I helped launch an early-stage startup building a marketplace for trading overstock goods across the globe. As COO I oversaw nearly every aspect of business operations as we consistently doubled revenue year-on-year.

After earning my MBA from Columbia Business School, I joined a private equity firm specializing in small business acquisitions where I sourced and negotiated deals and served as CEO of a portfolio company. There I oversaw systems and process modernization and the development and rollout of a new web-based platform for client training and engagement.

These experiences have brought me full circle, back to small business and to my current endeavor to buy a company.  I want to use the skills and experience I have accumulated over the years to run a business of my own, building on its strong track record to grow it into the future.

WHY NEOSHO

The USS Neosho was the ship my grandfather served on during WWII. A Cimarron Class oiler, she survived the attack on Pearl Harbor but was sunk at the Battle of the Coral Sea. For an in-depth account, I highly recommend The Ship That Wouldn't Die: The Saga of the USS Neosho- A World War II Story of Courage and Survival at Sea by Don Keith.

The name Neosho has always held special meaning for our family. My grandfather helped inspire my entrepreneurial journey, and I chose Neosho Capital to honor his legacy.
